Care for a family member, together
Famivana is an iPhone app for the family member who ends up holding everything: the medication schedule, the appointment history, the test results, the daily observations. It puts that information in one place and lets the rest of the family share it.
What it does
- Care records. A profile for each person you care for, with their medications and schedules, whether doses were taken, appointments, measurements, daily condition notes and symptoms.
- Documents. Scan a paper document with the camera or add a file, and keep it with the person it belongs to. Text in a scan is recognized on your device and never leaves it.
- Reminders. Medication reminders on your phone. By default they show a neutral message; you can choose to include the medication name.
- Family circle. Invite other caregivers and decide, person by person, what each of them may see and do. A family member with no access to someone's record simply does not see it.
- Premium. Sharing with a family circle, family tasks and cloud sync for a circle are part of Famivana Premium, an optional subscription managed through the App Store. Premium covers one family circle at a time, chosen by the subscriber.
Works on your phone first
You can use Famivana without an account. Everything you record stays on your iPhone until you choose a feature that needs other people or other devices — inviting a caregiver, sharing a record, syncing across devices. Only then do you sign in, and only the records you connect are uploaded.
Where your device supports it, AI assistance — for example simplifying a document or preparing questions for an appointment — runs on the device itself. What it produces is a draft for you to read; nothing is written into a record without your say-so.
What Famivana is not
Not an emergency service. If someone needs urgent help, contact emergency services. Famivana is not monitored and cannot summon help.
Not medical advice. Famivana organizes the information you enter. It does not diagnose, treat or interpret, and it is not a substitute for the people who care for your family member professionally.
